Flock designed by Anna Stowe
On July 17, 2009 Red Spruce launched its debut collection of handwork rugs and carpets from Nova Scotia. This is the first time that a collection of contemporary hand-hooked rugs has been put together for the purpose of export. The carpets are designed by a diverse assemblage of artists, and crafted by an equally diverse group of talented Nova Scotia rug hookers. The current collection features the work of: Anna Stowe, Andrew Quon, Keith Bentley, Kimberly Vallis, Michael A.C. Christie, Brandt Eisner, Nick Brunt, Robin Gray, and Jared Betts.
