The annual Pre-Shrunk Exhibit at Argyle Fine Art opened last week with a great crowd, despite the wretched weather! This show is dedicated to tiny works all measuring roughly 4×5 inches. I submitted two paintings for the show. Photos below!

I’ve been so busy between design projects, art shows and life that I haven’t posted photos of this event yet. Well here they are! Thank you to Peter Farmer of The Paragon Theatre for making this event happen – and inviting me to participate!

The Paragon Theatre Industry Night features the ZODIAC show.
12 painters collaborate to paint the full zodiac live during a party atmosphere. With The industry night DJ’s and these 12 talented painters this Tuesday night will be mental fun.
The Painters will be lined up in a giant ring and will be assigned one zodiac sign each. They will only have a few hours to make these blank canvases into celestial symbols. The finished works will be for sale the night of show. S

Etsy Treasury by fawnpotter
October 30th, 2009
I am still new to Etsy, how things run there and all it’s glory. I received a message today from a fellow Etsian letting me know they included me in their treasury. What I understand about these treasuries is that they are a list of items a user compiles that shares some sort of theme, colour scheme, etc. Thanks to fawnpotter I have been included in my first Etsy Treasury. My lovely hand-printed cards have been added to the treasury named “Franny’s Lil Aligator Bag” which is packed full of wonderful, bright finds. Check it out here:

Nocturne Art At Night Festival
October 16th, 2009
The second annual Nocturne Festival is this Saturday (October 17) evening from 6pm onwards. Most of the art galleries, studios and associations are taking part and should be quite the night! I personally am looking forward to it and will have art in two locations! Briana from Union Studio in Dartmouth has offered to host a few on my paintings for the event and as well, I have a piece in the UAG Art Collective “Haunted Gallery” Show at the Rock Garden in Halifax. If you live in Dartmouth be sure to drop by Union Studio on your way to Halifax and see the wonderful work of Briana and Troy Scott.
